This is a very rare unused interleaved auctioneer copy of this catalogue. For every auction only a few copies are made for the Auctioneer and his helpers!!!!

The tape on the catalogue is applied by the printer, because of the interleaves the content didn't fit in the cover.

This is the 1980s equivalent of Locket - though the Norwebs possibly had more money to deploy than he did and they had their pick of practically everything that came onto the London and world market. They only bought choice and rare.

This is one of the best collections of English coins ever formed by a private individual. This part begins with choice and rare Anglo-Saxon coins, continues with excellent hammered and milled coins in all metals, ending with an Elizabeth II decimal pattern set of 1961. Nearly all illustrated in the text. Many are quite spectacular, including a Flag type penny of Stephen, a type VIII penny of Henry I. There are many patterns and proofs of the George III to Elizabeth II period, including a Lavrillier pattern penny of 1933 and a double florin of 1914 struck in gold. A nice clean copy.
