In these two volumes Sylviane Estiot catalogues approximately 2,000 coins in the Bibliothèque nationale de France which date to 270-276 AD and belong to the reigns of the Aureliean emperors, Tacitus and Florianus. The study begins with a historical overview of this period, marked by war and rival emperors in the west which, not surprisingly, created a monetary crisis, and considers the coin workshops. The catalogue is arranged chronologically and by workshop, which were located in such places as Rome, Lyon, Milan, Antioch and Tripolis. The catalogue includes ancient imitations. Comparisons are made in the second volume.

Europe only: If its cheaper, we ship with DPD parcels (A 10 kg parcel often costs a few Euros more as a 2 kg parcel by PostNL, the standard shipping company) you will get a refund if you paid to much postage!

Combined shipping rules:
