In 1866 werd bij terpafgravingen een grote goudschat gevonden met byzantijnse en frankische munten uit de 7e eeuw. Ze werden niet gebruikt in een geldeconomie, maar werden als sieraden gedragen.
De schat bestaat uit een fibula, ringen en oorhangers. In de bracteaten zijn Romeinse munten verwerkt. De munten zijn onder andere van Justinianus uit de 6e eeuw. Ze zijn thans te bezichtigen in het Rijksmuseum van Oudheden in Leiden.

In 1866, a large gold treasure was found in terpaf digs with byzantine and franc coins from the 7th century. They were not used in a money economy, but were worn as jewelry.
The treasure consists of a fibula, rings and earrings. Roman coins have been processed in the bracteates. The coins are from Justinian from the 6th century. They are now on display at the National Museum of Antiquities in Leiden.

Europe only: If its cheaper, we ship with DPD parcels (A 10 kg parcel often costs a few Euros more as a 2 kg parcel by PostNL, the standard shipping company) you will get a refund if you paid to much postage!

Combined shipping rules:
You have to combine all your purchases in one order, otherwise the system will see the purchases as seperate orders and start again with the basic rate for a 2 kg registered letter/parcel.
If you accidentally place more orders, we will recalculate the postage and give you a refund. We always ship for the lowest possible costs!
